This lovely ale was a present from my business partner from his New Year break in Devon.
Otter Head, Strong Ale (5.8%) brewed with spring water from the head springs of the River Otter. It's got a real malty taste as well as being clear and crisp. It's very nice indeed. From Otter Brewery, Mathayes, Luppitt, Devon, UK. (Sent from my iPhone)
Last night I made a Tesco order online and I was quite suprised to see the low prices of some of the bottled Ale.
I was also pleasantly suprised to see local stuff like Thornbridge (Jaipur) and Derby Brewing Company beers. In pic above (most 500ml): Leffe Brune 750ml £2.49
This is a lovely dark ruby ale from Croots Farm Shop (Nutbrook Brewery) and at 6.2% it really does come "with a bit of a kick"

Titanic brewery was founded in 1985 in Stoke-on-Trent (just down the road) their beers can now be found in over 250 freehouses in the UK.
This is a lush, dark, old fashioned stout and makes for nice supping on Christmas Eve. Happy Christmas. (Sent from my iPhone)
The Talbot Taphouse has been refurbished by Amber Ales Brewery and is now their Brewery Tap. We had a few of their beers today after visiting the brewery down the road. www.amberales.co.uk
One of these lucky retailers will be getting my custom this weekend so that I can stock up on some lovely ale for Christmas day.
