Since October last year I’ve been lucky enough to of been involved with a group of beta testers trialing a new iPhone app called Lovefre.sh. The app went live in the iTunes App Store on Valentines day!
Firstly the concept is awesome, we have Gowalla, Foursquare, Facebook Places, Google Places that all concentrate on mass check in’s anywhere. This app is all about finding good quality local food and drink. By creating spots and checking in you are helping the local community and travellers through the area that need to know where to stock up on the good stuff.
As a touring caravan owner my family and I tour the UK for our breaks and I’m always on the look out for breweries where I can fill up my jugs from the cask! This app is going to help me do that throughout the country and I’m looking forward to visiting breweries as an excuse to log their location!
Congratulations to Mark and his team. I’m looking forward to updates and new features from what looks like a very creative and forward thinking British startup.
