I'm just checking out the Jme Knife Sets that my wife is peddling as a Jamie At Home Consultant. The one on the right is the Essential Knife Set and the other is the Carving Set. The knifes are really well made and forged from a single block of Japanese high grade steel which means the blade and tang are one piece. They have a quality long lasting feel and nice balance with a thick upper edge.

If I were to have only one set, it would be the Essential set coming in at £65 for three quality knifes that should last for many many years. In fact I have had my current knife set for over 10 years and they are only a third the weight of these.
