Dreaming of Devon Photo iPhoneography Devon

There’s something about this time of year when thoughts turn to holidays. Days are getting longer and sometimes we might actually catch a rare blue sky or a hint of sun.

The only thing I can do is view my photo’s of days past. This is a selection from my North Devon folder, some taken with the SLR but more increasingly taken with the iPhone and uploaded to share on the spot.

Great collection of photos. We’re gonna be off to Somerset shortly, and I’m planning on packing my DSLR but wonder if I’ll be taking more photos and video with my iPhone, than my “proper” camera. We’ll see!

@tontowilliams I’m moving more and more away from my DSLR. That doesn’t necessarily mean I’ll only be shooting with the iPhone, but I’ve recently grabbed my tiny IXUS to capture the moment. It’s the speed of the pic that I need, but also the ability to instantly share and geo tag (this could be solved by Latitude and Panoramio automatically working together to know where you are at the time you take a non geo tagged photo!). The DSLR is just too big.If I can get a small, fast digital camera to talk to my iPhone and pass the photo into the camera roll I’ll be laughing. Maybe its some sort of hack with the Eye-Fi card, maybe it’s something created with Android! … at the moment I don’t know, but it’s coming to a store near you!I tell you one thing … I won’t be taking an iPad 2 out with me and holding it up for a shot!
