In my day to day role at Fish MediaI do ‘stuff’ that I am proud of but mostly can’t be talked about or linked to for one or another large corporate reason, so when I noticed a tweet requesting some design help with a great new project one evening, I thought I could help and maybe even shout about it for a change.

I’ve always used the little knowledge I have to help people. I like helping people. I like helping people who appreciate the help. Roger and Christian Payne certainly are the type of guys that show their appreciation so I will also help them again in the future if they will have me.

Natural Wool Duvets

I was asked if I could come up with a cartoon based sheep based identity for a great new British enterprise – Natural Fibre Duvets called Baavet. The result is the logo shown above that now adorns all of the Baavet packaging and is the avatar for it’s social media accounts. I’m happy that they are happy, that’s what counts. It’s also great to know that I have helped a new business in a very small way and I love the fact that this product is British, natural and totally sustainable.

The best way to find out about this great product is to visit the Baavet Natural Fibre Duvet website. But here is a brief outline of the main benefits of a Natural Wool Duvet:

  • A 100% Natural Fibre Duvet
  • Naturally breathable
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Inhibits and resists dust mites
  • Excellent for asthma and allergy sufferers
  • Creates a microclimate to regulate the body’s temperature
  • Reduces discomfort and the need for movement, leading to a deeper, calmer sleep
  • A totally sustainable product which will last a lifetime
  • No chemical treatments or additives during manufacture
  • Far superior to manmade fibre and down
  • Produced from British Farms and manufactured in British Mills
  • All products and packaging are recyclable
  • Made in Britain

If you like this idea, you should support Baavet and buy a Baavet Natural Wool Duvet

Thanks again man. It was/is perfect. Stands out a mile as an avatar and a logo. I must admit I have no idea what my Dad is planning most of the time and the massive labels took me by surprise. I am still waiting for my own baavet as i have a super kingsize bed and they don’t come in that size yet! :)
